Daniel Moreno and Hervé Samb performing "Kharit"
Live at The Pyramind Club in NYC on October 20th 2011
for the release party of Kharit

KHARIT (meaning friendship in wolof) is a magical improvisational encounter of two spiritual friends Daniel Moreno, an American percussionist of Mexican descent, based in NYC and Hervé Samb, a Senegalese master guitar player living in Paris.

The album is flavored by West African, Brazilian and many others multi cultural instruments. While the listener effortlessly surf on KHARIT's organic sound waves - elaborate melodic, yet fluid arrangements follow the superb jam trance the duo achieve.

Album available on CD and 2xColor Vinyls.

We are curious to hear what Brazilians have to say about KHARIT - Daniel Moreno and Hervé Samb would love to tour the tropics and feed from  the Brazilian Vibe for future projects !

To introduce  KHARIT to Brazil, is to cross-pollinaze fresh - spiritual - organic & improvisational world jazz and neo Brazilian music movements. We can't wait to see the results. Stay tuned !
